Vagon, a Sting Accelerate alumni startup, raises 4.3 MSEK to transform how creatives work with performance-savvy design apps.

Vagon enables applications that require considerable hardware performance used for creative tasks such as 3D design, video production, and architecture, to be operated from any device with its cloud streaming and interaction technology created for low-end devices. The founders stated that so far they have served more than 25k users in 8 different regions worldwide.

Investors from Valley and European ecosystem, Eren Bali — founder of Udemy and Carbon Health, Mustafa Kucuk — CEO of LC Waikiki, and Sina Afra — founder of Tiko and Markafoni, along with APY Ventures, joined the company’s cap table with the round.

Vagon launched its cloud computer for creative tasks early last year, and now is moving to app streaming services for OS-native creative applications. With this round, they plan to boost their growth by enabling B2B customers and building new features that will make remote work much easier for teams. Vagon also has established partnerships with creative application companies for its new app streaming service.

The startup’s goal is to transform the $50+ billion market for performance computers, where demand has grown rapidly. In addition, considering the recent problems in chip production and the new normal of remote work, it is clear that new technologies in this field will continue to emerge and enter our lives much faster.
